Psalms 1

1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.ungodly: or, wicked
2But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.wither: Heb. fade
4The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

1.) Happy (blessed) is the man who walks not with the sayings (opinions) of others, nor does he stray and join the path of sin, nor sit in the seat of those who criticize
2.) He finds his happiness withing the law of the Lord; and ponders (thinks, follows) it day and night. (This could be literal, but it could mean the times in which the righteous man does pray)
3.) And he (his belief, or is this "He") shall never wither away, that brings courage (or prosperity?)(1); his courage (*1) shall not stray; and what he does shall always succeed (God provides a sense of goodness to those who believe or all)
4.)  The 'ungodly' do not have these things (they hold similar, but in truth it is not so): and will always wither away (Not: Stability difference (2)
5.) Therefore the 'ungodly' shall have no judement, nor the sinners who falsely sit in the group of those who are righteous
6.) For God knows the path of righteousness: but the way of the 'ungodly' shall perish

To add, the 'ungodly' can be taken in several ways, whether it is in the path of a sinner or if it is the way of those who simply use the way of God as a scapegoat to whatever it is they are doing. Keeping in mind, the last 2 lines (or is it stanzas?) truly mean that although someone is ungodly, they will soon learn that in judgement (or throughout life) the path they lead shall only lead to destruction.
Note: //Psalm 1 has multiple accounts of repition////And also, from what I researched, mixes with Psalm 2//

2* Chaff: the husks of corn or other seed separated by winnowing or threshing.
